Exceptions to service opening hours during the summer 2025
Below you can check the summer opening hours of the Health Centres or Welfare Centres closest to you. There might be changes in some policlinics’ and childrens welfare clinics’ opening hours and in the day time activities for seniors. Any changes will be reported on the unit’s own webpages.
Our main telephone services are open as usual throughout the summer
Care Needs Assessment Mon–Thurs 08:00–15:00 and Fri 08:00–14:00, at number 06 218 9000.
Senior line (Care Needs Assessment for people aged 65 and over) Mon–Thurs 08:00–15:00 and Fri 08:00–14:00, at number 06 218 9800.
The Medical Helpline is open 24/7 at number 116 117.
Oral healthcare appointments and advice Mon–Thurs 07:30–16:00 and Friday 07:30–15:00, at number 06 218 9100.
Social welfare service guidance, Mon-Thurs 08:00–15:00 and Fri 08:00–14:00, at number 06 218 9400.
Telephone switchboard on weekdays from 07:00–17:00 at number 06 218 1111.

Luoto (Larsmo) Welfare Centre, closed from 14 July – 10 August 2025.
Kruunupyy (Kronoby) Welfare Centres doctor’s and nurse’s appointments closed from 16 June – 13 July 2025.
Alaveteli (Nedervetil) Welfare Centres doctor’s and nurse’s appointments closed from 16 June – 10 August 2025.
Teerijärvi (Terjärv) Welfare Centres doctor’s and nurse’s appointments closed from 14 July – 10 August 2025.
Pännäinen (Bennäs) Welfare Centre closed from 16 June – 10 August 2025.
Vähäkyrö (Lillkyro) Welfare Centre closed from 16 June – 17 August 2025.
Ostrobothnia Diabetes Unit
The opening times at diabetes clinics will be shortened from 16 June – 10 August 2025, but the telephone hours of diabetes nurses will work normally.
The diabetes clinic at Pietarsaari (Jakobstad) will be closed on Fridays from 1 July – 31 July 2025.
