MyKanta login

OmaKanta is a national online service for citizens, where you can view your own social and health care information. Logging in to OmaKanta always requires strong electronic identification through Suomi.fi identification.

It is not possible to log in to OmaKanta without Suomi.fi authentication, and there is no separate username-password login in the service.

When autenthicating with Suomi.fi identification, the user can choose one of the following identification tools:

• electronic banking passwords
• mobile certificate
• chip ID card (identity card and card reader)

Logging in always takes place at www.kanta.fi, from where the user is directed to Suomi.fi identification to choose the preferred authentication method.
