Access to Dental Health Care for Adults

In oral healthcare, the statutory longer maximum time period from the initial care needs assessment is three months for persons under the age of 23. For those aged 23 or over, the maximum time period is six months from the initial care needs assessment.

THL – Occurrence of the first dental health care visit by age group (in Finnish)

THL – Follow-up visit to the dentist based on the care needs assessment of care needs at the first appointment (within 3 months and for those under 23 years)
