The Oral and Maxillofacial Diseases Outpatient Clinic at Vaasa Central Hospital is responsible for providing specialized oral and dental healthcare for the Wellbeing Services County of Ostrobothnia.
The clinic is staffed by specialist dentists and nursing personnel in three specialty areas: oral and maxillofacial surgery, clinical dentistry, and orthodontics. Specialized care includes the examination, treatment, and consultation of diseases and conditions affecting the mouth and jaws. Patients are referred to the outpatient clinic by a dentist and can only be seen with a referral. The clinic serves residents of the Wellbeing Services County of Ostrobothnia as well as referred patients from other regions.
