Specialised Geriatric Care Ward
The specialised geriatric care ward treats elderly patients who, due to a sudden reason, are unable to manage at home.
Patients in the specialised geriatric care ward are treated by general practitioners specialising in geriatrics.
Patients are referred to the ward by the coordinating caregiver from the A&E department or other wards.
