Day Care Surgery
Day care surgery is suitable for most patients and can be applied to an increasing number of procedures. The preparation, surgery, and recovery after the surgery typically take 4-6 hours.
At our hospital, approximately 4,000 procedures are performed annually as day care surgeries across all specialties.

Location
The day surgery unit is located next to the emergency outpatient clinic, on the 2nd floor of the YA entrance. The entrance to the Y-building is from Sanmarkinkatu. The drive-in to Sanmarkinkatu is next to the swimming hall.

Care Planning Monday-Thursday 9 AM–3 PM Friday 9 AM– 2 PM: referrals, waiting time inquiries, and cancellations.
