Health services for children, adolescents and families

Here you can find information on maternity clinic services, school and student health care, as well as family planning, among other areas.

At the Contraception Clinic we want to maintain and promote your sexual health. Our services are provided for both adolescents and adults.

The Maternity Clinic provides you and your partner / family pregnancy monitoring and support so that your pregnancy, the birth and the care of your baby become a safe experience for the whole family.

The Child Welfare Clinic monitors a child’s health, development and growth, as well as provides parents with guidance and counselling. At the clinic, the child will receive vaccines compliant with the vaccination programme.

A school social worker’s role is to support pupils who feel they need someone to talk to about problems at school or about things that happen at home or during leisure time.

School health care is intended for comprehensive school children and their families. We work proactively to promote the physical, mental and social health of pupils and to prevent illnesses and various forms of abuse and addiction. School health care works with pupils, their parents, school personnel and other pupil welfare staff. In addition, School health care aims to make the school a healthy and safe environment where everyone can work and learn.

Student Health Care is meant for you who are studying at a secondary school, such as an upper secondary school, vocational school or folk high school, regardless of where you live. Student Health Care organises healthcare services for students and promotes the health and ability of students to study as well as wellbeing in the learning environment and student community.
