Data Protection and Processing of Personal Data in the Joint Municipal Authority for the Wellbeing Services County of Ostrobothnia
The Wellbeing Services County of Ostrobothnia processes personal data in accordance with the grounds laid down in the General Data Protection Regulation. As a whole, the processing of personal data is based on a statutory obligation, the data subject’s consent, or the implementation of an agreement in which the data subject is a party. Obtained personal data is processed only for the purposes specified.
Disclosure of Information
Information is not disclosed regularly. Moreover, information is disclosed to the requesting party in accordance with the Finnish Act on the Openness of Government Activities (621/1999). Information and documents are public unless they are explicitly classified by law.
Information is neither transferred nor disclosed outside the EU or EES.
Data Protection Rights Relating to the Processing of Personal Data
The data subject is entitled to know for what purposes and in what manner his or her personal data is processed. Moreover, the data subject is also entitled to know if personal data pertaining to him or her is processed. If personal data is processed, the data subject is entitled to a copy of this information, except where there are statutory grounds to refuse this right.
The data subject has the right to request the rectification of inaccurate data pertaining to him or her. In certain cases – e.g. in terms of newsletters – the data subject can request to have his or her personal data deleted.
The Joint Municipal Authority for the Wellbeing Services of Ostrobothnia does not make decisions that are based on automatic decision-making.
