As a parent, you must first activate your own electronic authorisation so that you can act on behalf of your child. You need a bank ID or mobile certificate to log in to the eTerveyspalvelu-portal service (available in Finnish). After logging into the service, you can activate your own electronic authorisation under: Lomakkeet (Forms).

Acting on behalf of a minor:

Note! Please note that when acting on behalf of a child, make your child the official customer!

  • In the upper right corner of the authorisation service, select your own name (on the phone, a human figure in the upper right corner of the page), and a menu will open from which you can select: Hae valtuudet Suomi.fi -palvelusta (Get authorisations from the Suomi.fi service).

  • Select the child you want to act on behalf of and then book an appointment. If you are acting on behalf of a child for the first time, you can also activate the authorisation on behalf of the child for the messaging service under Lomakkeet (Forms). By filling out the form, please allow online authorisations, text messaging and appointments so that you can use all the services available in the future.
