Radiology
The X-Ray Department carries out traditional x-ray examinations, ultrasound scans, mammography screenings, computed tomography scans, bone density measurements, magnetic resonance imaging, dental x-rays, and radiological procedures. Imaging examinations are carried out in support of diagnosing, which is why all examinations or procedures require a doctor’s referral.
The radiological unit at Närpes Health Center informs:
During the time 27.4 – 14.6.2026 X-rays are closed at Närpes Health Center due to the dismantling of the old X-ray apparatus, the renovation of the X-ray space and the installation of the new X-ray apparatus.
Meanwhile, patients are referred to X-rays in Kristinestad.
