Surgical ward 1
The surgical ward is specialised in the care of orthopaedics and trauma patients, as well as plastic and general surgery. Our ward has a total of 25 beds.
Surgical ward one mainly handles orthopaedics and trauma patients, as well as plastic and general surgery, and provides specialised medical care services to the entire population of the Wellbeing Services County of Ostrobothnia. The ward is an acute emergency ward and patients enter the ward either as planned after surgery, through the accident and emergency (A&E) department or from other hospitals.
