Oncology and haematology ward
The ward treats patients with cancer and blood disorders.
Patients come to the ward for planned drug treatments, radiation therapy, or examinations. In addition, the ward cares for patients’ infections, provides pain relief, treats anaemia and side effects of treatments, as well as patients in the later stages of life. Some patients have a weakened immune system and are very susceptible to infections.
The ward has a total of 18 beds.
