Divorce, Custody, Visitation, and Child Support

Family Law Services help families to deal with issues that emerge in connection with divorce or separation. When parents separate, they need to agree on custody, visitation rights, and child support regarding their minor children.

Supervised and supported visits are arranged to promote a child’s right to maintain a relationship with the parent with whom he or she does not reside.

A child has the right to adequate maintenance. The child’s parents are liable for the child’s maintenance according to their abilities and until the child reaches the age of 18.

A child’s paternity can be acknowledged at a maternity clinic or investigated by a Child Supervisor.

A child’s custody, residence, and visitation are separate issues that parents must agree on if they are not married or live together.
