From 22 November, the social welfare guidance service of the Wellbeing Services County of Ostrobothnia can also provide guidance, counselling and information about social welfare services and benefits by telephone. The service is especially aimed at families with children and people of working age.
A sudden deterioration in financial circumstances can be caused, for example, by a divorce, a serious illness and the resulting hospital and medical bills, a substance abuse problem or mental health issues.
