Homecare
In homecare, we help and guide such activities that a person cannot do for themselves or for which they cannot receive help, for example, from relatives or those close to them. Our goal is for the customer to be able to live safely in their own home for as long as possible.

We implement homecare services by supporting a person’s wellbeing, health, ability to function, independent performance and inclusion. When the criteria for homecare are met, we basically provide the customer with regular homecare services and support services provided by the city. If desired, the client can also purchase services independently.
Homecare includes home service and home nursing.
For care and client matters, we recommend that you contact us by telephone or letter for privacy reasons. We do not respond by e-mail to personal questions or client matters related to care.
Home service
The home service is there to provide services to support independent living at home. The wellbeing county can combine home service based on the Social Welfare Act and homecare based on the Health Care Act into homecare. The home service is available for senior citizens, the disabled and the sick, or to persons with a disability for any other reason. Families with children have the right to receive home service support whenever it is necessary to ensure the welfare of the child. Home service support is provided if necessary due to an injury, illness, exhaustion or other special family situation, for example
Home nursing
Home nursing is intended for persons who, due to a limitation of their physical, mental or social capacity, are unable to use the services of a health centre independently or with the assistance of an escort.
In home nursing, we provide healthcare and treatment (e.g., injections, wound care, blood tests) for patients who, due to physical, mental or social disabilities, are unable to use the services of the health centre independently or with the assistance of an escort.
A doctor’s referral is not required for home nursing. For war veterans, home nursing is free.
